Garces ran its best team time of 112:08 at Valley: Their top five girls averaged 22:26.
Monica Guzman (Sr) is another top notch runner in the SEYL who is known for her front running style. In the past she has
always gotten caught in the big meets (usually by Baker) but still places high. One day, she will get her hard charging style
dialed in and she might not come back to the field. This past track season, she was very consistent and posted some excellant
times in the 3200 and 1600.
Last year at valley, Monica came in second and qualified for the state meet
